FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS We know that as you consider joining us for a Sunday worship gathering, you may have some questions about what to expect. So, here are some answers to some frequently asked questions. When and Where do you meet? BridgePoint Church meets every Sunday at 10487 Harcum Rd (click HERE for directions) at 11:00 a.m. Plan on arriving at least 15 minutes before our 11:00am service begins. This will give you time to park, check in your kids, and grab a free beverage from our Connection Cafe’ before the service begins. What will the experience be like? The Sunday worship gatherings at BridgePoint Church are all about authentically worshiping Jesus. Since we are gathering for a celebration, our worship is passionate and our proclamation of God’s Word is bold. Our worship experiences include singing led by our worship band, prayer, giving, creative elements, and a message that is focused on explaining the Bible and applying it to our daily lives. (You can listen online to past messages here.) The Sunday worship experience lasts approximately 75 minutes. What should I wear? Don’t worry about wearing your “Sunday best” to BridgePoint. We dress very casually around here. It’s very likely that whoever is teaching will be wearing blue jeans. So, wear whatever is comfortable for you. Is there anything for my kids? We have created safe, age-appropriate environments with your kids in mind! At KidPoint, kids birth through 5th grade, experience teaching, music, and activities that are designed to connect them to Jesus. SERIES DESCRIPTION In the life of a Christian, is not a matter of IF you will face spiritual warfare…it’s a matter of WHEN. And when you do, how will you recognize it? How will you respond? The Bible says that we have an enemy who seeks to “steal, kill and destroy,” and so it’s vitally important that we be aware of our enemy and the ways he seeks to come against us and against the church, and that we be prepared. In Ephesians 6:10-20 (HCSB), it says: “Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by His vast strength. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil. 12 For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. 13 This is why you must take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand. 14 Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist, righteousness like armor on your chest, 15 and your feet sandaled with readiness for the gospel of peace. 16 In every situation take the shield of faith, and with it you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is God’s word. 18 Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints. 19 Pray also for me, that the message may be given to me when I open my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel. 20 For this I am an ambassador in chains.
